Club Events

The club aims to arrange a variety of events to facilitate connections and communication among beekeepers of the North Shore, to promote the development of a peer learning and leadership community.  Please join our mailing list and/or our Facebook Group to hear about upcoming events.

Meetings - Bi-Annually
These structured meetings will consist of round-tables, presentations by leaders in the greater beekeeping community, news and updates from the Ministry of Agriculture and learning opportunities.

Bees & Beverages - Bi-Monthly September to May
This informal social gathering is usually held at a local pub, and provides a forum for beekeepers to get to know each other, share their experience and have questions answered by peers.

Summer BBQ - Annually in July or August
A continuation to 'Bees & Beverages', but taking advantage of our summer weather, this event is hosted by a volunteer of the membership, and can provide for an opportunity to discuss and demonstrate equipment or techniques.
